Since its creation in 1984, the Dr.Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Foundation is anchored in a strong tradition of generosity, which successfully raises funds in support of the Dr.Georges-L.-Dumont Regional Hospital, to optimize the quality of care and services offered to patients.

The Foundation's cornerstone rests with the spirit and the determination of these men and women who, like many of you, are motivated by spontaneous acts of kindness benefiting their community.

Proud to be associated to the Dr.Georges-L.-Dumont Regional Hospital, the Foundation's team works tirelessly to better meet the needs of our region through various projects and innovative programs designed to improve patient's well-being and quality of life.

Ø Specified gifts

The In Memoriam donation program is a simple way to express your sympathy to a grieving family. These donations help the Foundation pursue its mission.

Planned Giving is a part of sound fiscal planning which takes many forms, such as bequests, cash gifts, titles or personal belongings, annuities, life insurance policies, pensions, real estate, charitable annuities, or charitable remainder trusts. Each type of gift offers different advantages, depending on the donor's financial situation.

The 2010 Tree of Hope Campaign and it's 19 annual Radiothon, aired live on CBC and Radio-Canada, as well as the Valentine's Day Gala, are but a few examples of the Foundation's successful projects.
